Six-day musical Shri Ram Katha in Jamshedpur Surya Mandir from Feb 23

Jamshedpur, Feb 16: A six day Musical Ram Katha will be organized at Surya Mandir in Sidgora from February 23 February. Popular scripture narrator Sadhvi Dr Visweshwari Sadhvi from Haridwar will present Ram Katha in a musical form along with tableaus that will highlight the narratives recited by  the Sadhvi. The occasion will be organized and hosted by the Surya Mandir committee on the second year of installation of Ram Mandir in the Surya Mandir complex. This was announced at the committee meeting that was chaired by Surya Mandir committee president, Sanjiv Singh in which chief patron and former Jharkhand Chief Minister, Raghubar Das was present.

Sanjiv Singh informedthat the Ram Temple in Surya Mandir was built on the lines of Ayodhya Dham and was inaugurated in 2020 under the guidance of Chief Patron, Raghubar Das. He further informed that the Ram Darbar was inaugurated in 2020 but at that period, no programme was organized because of the prevailing COVID-19 infection. He said, “This year the committee has decided to organize the Musical Ram Katha by noted narrator, Param Pujya Sadhvi Dr Visweshwari from Haridwar. The six day event beginning February 23, will commence with a grand procession in the evening. Committee members will make door-to-door calls and distribute invitations for devotes to attend the grand musical Shri Ram Katha. We expect very good attendance in this programme. In fact, we have been organizing religious festivals since 2002.” Gunjan Yadav, Laxmikant Singh, Mantu Banerjee, Akhilesh Chaudhary, Pawan Agarwal, Kamlesh Singh, Rambabu Tiwari, Chandrashekhar Mishra, Bhupendra Singh, Rakesh Singh, Khemlal Chaudhary, Deepak Jha, Santosh Thakur, Amarjit Singh Raja, Suresh Sharma, Ruby Jha, Jyoti Adhikari, Neelu Jha, Bimla Sahu, Madhu Tanti, Seema Jaiswal, among others were present in the meeting.
