Youth Injured in High-Tension Wire Accident at Tatanagar Station

Jamshedpur: A youth sustained grievous injuries after coming in contact with a high-tension overhead wire at Tatanagar Railway Station.

According to information, the incident occurred around 11:07 am on Platform No. 3, where a freight train was stationed. The youth reportedly climbed or approached the train and came into contact with the high-voltage line, resulting in severe injuries.

Railway personnel and emergency responders rushed to the spot and immediately shifted him to the railway hospital for initial treatment. He was later referred to MGM Medical College and Hospital for advanced care.

Preliminary reports suggest that the individual may have been mentally unstable, though officials have not confirmed this. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact circumstances of the incident.
