Jamshedpur, August 28: The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) will unveil a ‘Former General Secretary Photo Gallery’ at Chamber Bhawan on Saturday, August 30 at 3:45 pm as part of its Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The gallery will be inaugurated by Minister of State for Defense Sanjay Seth, who will attend as chief guest.
This was announced by Honorary General Secretary Manav Kedia. He said the gallery had been created to honor the Chamber’s past honorary general secretaries for their service and contribution. Earlier, in April 2023, a ‘Former President Photo Gallery’ was inaugurated, which highlighted the legacy of the Chamber’s presidents. Inspired by its success, the Chamber decided to similarly honor its former general secretaries.
President Vijay Anand Moonka stated that the Chamber’s commitment to both trade interests and social causes was the result of the vision of its past leaders, though many in the present generation were unaware of their role. The purpose of the gallery was to make current and future members aware of these contributions so they may feel proud, draw inspiration, and serve the Chamber with equal dedication.
