Jamshedpur, May 14: With the Lok Sabha elections drawing near, the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has initiated an extensive voter awareness campaign to encourage civic participation. Today, three voter awareness chariots were ceremoniously flagged off from the chamber premises by cricketing sensation Saurabh Tiwari, serving as a youth icon for the endeavor. These chariots will traverse various markets in Jamshedpur, aiming to motivate residents to exercise their voting rights.

Cricketer Saurabh Tiwari, present at the event, urged all voters to recognize the significance of their ballots and contribute to strengthening democracy through active participation.
Vijay Anand Moonka, President of the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, underscored the collective responsibility of business owners, entrepreneurs, and residents in ensuring a robust voter turnout. Moonka emphasized that the business community in Jamshedpur, along with their families, friends, and employees, stands united in their commitment to participate in the electoral process.

Highlighting the Chamber’s month-long voter awareness program, Moonka called upon everyone to seize the opportunity presented by the upcoming elections and strive for a 100 percent voter turnout on May 25th.
In the Golmuri-Bistupur markets, an additional awareness campaign was conducted, featuring voter awareness posters displayed in traders’ establishments and stickers affixed to their vehicles. These efforts aim to foster a culture of informed and active citizenship, empowering individuals to make their voices heard at the ballot box.
