Ranchi, May 14: The School Education and Literacy Department has announced revised timings for schools across Ranchi. Effective immediately, a new schedule has been put into effect, altering the operational hours for different grade levels.The amended order mandates that classes for Kindergarten through 8th grade will take place from 7:00 am to 11:30 am, while classes for 9th grade and above will be conducted from 7:00 am to 12:00 noon.
This decision, approved by the departmental secretary, Nand Kishore Lal, aims to streamline the educational process in all government, non-government aided, unaided (including minority), and private schools across the state.
Post-summer vacation, classes will resume at their respective pre-determined times. Private schools are also expected to comply with these directives in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the RTE Act and management protocols.
