Jamshedpur: A delegation of members of Central Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee jointly led by Pradhan Indrajeet Singh and Shailendra Singh met the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Amit Kumar on Thursday and handed over a 15-point memorandum addressed to Chief Minister Raghubar Das to him.

The delegation members demanded that the possession of the land at Birla Maidan at Metro Gali, Ratu Road, Ranchi, be given to Gurudwara Gurunanak Satsang Sabha. They said the Section 144 clamped on the said land be removed and the possession of the said land be handed over to the Sabha while claiming that the land mutation and High Court orders were in its favour.

The Sikh leaders also condemned the incident of stone pelting in Ranchi. They hailed the decision taken by the Sikh community to build a CBSE medium school and a super specialty hospital in Ranchi.

They said that all members of the society will be benefitted by the decision. They said they had requested the CM to ensure enforcement of the court decree.
