Jamshedpur March 2: Young technocrats of Tata Steel, Tata Motors, TCIL, Jusco, Tata Sponge etc participated in the Technical Exhibition (TechEx 2017), an exhibition that highlights the immense talent and engineering prowess of young talent, at Shavak Nanavati Technical Institute (SNTI) in Bistupur.
The 9th Technical Exhibition was inaugurated by Ishaat Hussain, Director, Tata Sons in the presence of Dr. Peter Blauwhoff, Director , Anand Sen, President, TQM & Steel Business, Tata Steel along with other dignitaries. Also present was the senior leadership team of different Tata Steel associate companies like TCIL, Jamipol, JUSCO, etc.
Ishaat Hussain along with Anand Sen, SD Tripathy, VP (HRM), Tata Steel, visited various stalls at the exhibition and praised various innovative ideas exhibited by the young trainees at SNTI and employees of Tata Steel, Tata Motors, TCIL, Tayo Rolls, Jusco etc.
The exhibition will be open from 3rd� 5th March, 2017. The young trainees at SNTI and employees of Tata Steel and various group companies have made a concerted effort towards developing innovative models based on the principles of science and engineering.
A vibrant educational atmosphere was on display in various stalls depicting the technical prowess of the young talents of the organisation. A total of 44 creative ideas with working models having a potential of wide application in various manufacturing industries across the country is on display.
Prakash Singh, Chief, Capability Development, believes it to be a platform for building a culture of creativity and innovation within the organization.
‘The function will attract a wide participation of visitors from all walks of life, including senior students from schools, colleges including engineering colleges and different organizations in an around Jamshedpur’, added Singh.
The function is open to all employees and their family members from 3rd to 5th March, 2017 at the SNTI, N. Road, Bistupur ground from 9 am to 6 pm.
