Jamshedpur: The Shaheedi Nagar Kirtan of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji concluded with a remarkable display of community service and devotion, as Sikh hoteliers of the city stepped forward to provide accommodation and essential services to devotees arriving from distant places.
The Central Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (CGPC) expressed special gratitude to these hoteliers who, with a spirit of sewa, ensured comfort and care for the visiting jathas.
CGPC President Sardar Bhagwan Singh remarked, “The Sikh community in Jamshedpur has flourished due to Waheguru’s blessings. The cooperation of the Sangat and local businessmen in making the Nagar Kirtan successful is truly commendable. We look forward to similar support in the future.”
Chairman Sardar Shailendra Singh extended heartfelt thanks to all Gurdwara Committees and the Sangat, while General Secretary Sardar Gurcharan Singh Billa noted that the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) had also expressed appreciation for CGPC’s arrangements.
The event witnessed the presence of CGPC office-bearers, including President Sardar Bhagwan Singh, Chairman Sardar Shailendra Singh, General Secretaries Gurcharan Singh Billa and Amarjit Singh, Treasurer Gurnam Singh, along with Sukhwinder Singh Raju, Surinder Singh Shinde, Central Sikh Naujwan Sabha President Amrik Singh, and Harshdeep Singh.
The Shaheedi Nagar Kirtan once again highlighted the Sikh tradition of service, unity, and devotion, leaving a lasting impression on the community.
