Sikh Guru’s offensive pictures used in social media, community furious

Jamshedpur, May 16: Social media has proved to be a boon for many but there are others as well who leave no stone unturned to prove that they�ve got nothing but shit up there in that bony skull which contains brain.

Some anti social elements have been posting offensive pictures of Gurunanak Dev Ji and Guru Gobind SIngh Ji on facebook and Whatsapp.

The Sikh community of the city termed the instance as not only offensive but religiously hurting and filed a complaint to Sakchi Police Station incharge. Sardar Inderjeet Singh, president of Central Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (CGPC), filed written complaint and demanded action against the accused.

Jharkhand State Minority Commission (JSMC) vice-president Gurdev Singh also informed about the incident to SSP Anoop T Mathew. The Sikh community has also threatened to launch massive protest.

A CGPC member said that our gurus photos have been used inappropriately and offensive words have also been written alongside.

The Sikh community is upset but has faith on the law that people involved will be punished. Sardar Shailendra Singh was also present.
