Signature campaign launched, selfie point inaugurated at Jamshedpur Cooperative College

Jamshedpur, March 26: East Singhbhum district administration Tuesday launched a mass signature campaign at Jamshedpur Cooperative College (JCC) under the Systematic Voters� Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) of Election Commission of India. A selfie point was also inaugurated on the college campus on this occasion. The campaign is aimed at raising awareness level of voters regarding their duty to cast vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Officials present during the campaign said the ECI had issued directives to motivate all voters to exercise their adult franchise and contribute in strengthening of the Indian democracy.

District administration has lined up a slew of events including human chain, painting competition, run for election, dance contest, nukkad natak and football tournament to raise voters� awareness in East Singhbhum.
