Jamshedpur: A new transformer was installed in Sidirsai village of Tangrain panchayat in Potka block on Thursday. It was inaugurated by Zila Parishad member Sanjeev Sardar. Two months, the village transformer was burnt, causing much inconvenience to the people. Later, Sanjeev Sardar took up the issue with the government authorities concerned and got a new transformer for the village.
Among those present during the inaugural ceremony included Lav Sardar, Jiten Sardar, Rooplal Sardar, Sanjay Sardar, Ranjeet Sardar, Kusho Sardar, Babulal Sardar, Rakhi Sardar and Beena Sardar.
