Jamshedpur: Sri Shyam Bhakt Mandal, Parsudih, organized a free health check up camp in Parsudih on Sunday in collaboration with Kantilal Gandhi Memorial Medica Hospital. A total of 120 people visited the camp to benefit from the free health check up and consultation facility. The camp was held at Raja Multi Gym situated at Durga Bari Road. It started at 10 am and continued till 2 pm.
The visitors suffering from nutritional deficiencies were given vitamins and iron supplements. Free medicines were dispensed to those suffering from fever and other ailments. Dr SK Singh examined the patients with the help of Tejvir Singh, Sheron, Vinay, Chiranjit and Ashok Ghosh present as volunteers.
The chief guest of the occasion was the MLA of Potka Menka Sardar. Other distinguished guests included Zila Parishad vice president Rajkumar Singh, Zila Parishad member Supriyo Dey Rana, journalist Shankar Agrawal, Mukhiya Kanchan Tigga and Parsudih BJP president Pankaj Sinha.
At the camp, members of Sri Shyam Bhakt Mandal gave tips to the visitors on ways to remain healthy. The members advised the visitors to maintain personal hygiene and keep their surroundings clean too.
Among others present during the programme included Vijay Agrawal, Rohit Agrawal, Nayanraj Poddar, Ratan, Manoj, Sanjay, Bunty, Rajesh, Vinit and Anurag.
