Jamshedpur: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Jamshedpur, organized a legal awareness camp in Railway Harijan Busti at Khasmahal on Sunday under NALSA Scheme 2015. Para legal volunteer Sunil Pandey informed the residents of their various legal rights and duties. The residents spoke about the lack of basic civic amenities pertaining to drinking water, toilet and health care in the locality.
They also complained that they had no ration card. Pandey informed the residents about the right platforms where they could get their grievances redressed. Social activist Ritesh Ghosal appealed to the residents to become aware of their problems and legal rights.
Among those present on the occasion included Indu Devi, Rudan Devi, Sangita Karua, Reena Mukhi, Santoshi Mukhi, Chunki Mukhi and Geeta Mukhi.
