Ranchi: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) central president and former chief minister Shibu Soren marked his 81st birthday with a grand celebration at his Morhabadi residence. The event saw an influx of party workers, dignitaries, and well-wishers from early morning.

Among the notable attendees were Chief Minister Hemant Soren, MLA Kalpana Soren, former minister Basant Soren, and MP Mahua Maji. The leaders gathered to cut an 81-pound cake, symbolizing the milestone, and expressed heartfelt wishes for Dishom Guru’s health and longevity. Shibu Soren’s elder daughter-in-law, Sita Soren, and her daughters were also present at the celebration.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren lauded Shibu Soren’s contributions, emphasizing his unparalleled status in the hearts of the poor, tribals, Dalits, and backward classes. “Shibu Soren is a priceless gem for the marginalized. No award can truly represent his struggle and contributions,” said Hemant Soren.

The birthday celebrations were not limited to Ranchi; JMM workers and locals across various districts of Jharkhand also joined in the festivities, marking the occasion with joy and enthusiasm.

In addition to his father’s celebration, the Chief Minister extended birthday wishes to Jharkhand BJP President Babulal Marandi.

However, when asked about Raghubar Das seeking blessings from Shibu Soren, the Chief Minister refrained from commenting.
