Sheyn International School celebrates Rakhi

 

Jamshedpur, Aug 9: Sheyn International School celebrated Rakhi with the aim of instilling nationalism and promoting Indian cultural values among students. The event sought to counter the growing influence of western culture on teenagers by highlighting the hues of indigenous India.

Girls tied rakhis to teachers and staff as a symbol of respect and universal brotherhood. Students came dressed in vibrant ethnic attire, adding to the festive atmosphere. Sweets were distributed to spread the message of peace, friendship, and prosperity.

The celebration was organized under the guidance of Principal (Academics) Tandrima Banerjee, Principal (Administration) Dr. Keya Adak, the Headmistress, and class teachers, ensuring active participation and cultural learning for all students.
