Jamshedpur: HUNCH 2025 showcases talent, creativity, and camaraderie

Jamshedpur: HUNCH, the highly anticipated inter-school fest hosted annually by Dayanand Public School, was successfully held on Friday, once again bringing together young minds to celebrate creativity, innovation, and knowledge in a vibrant, competitive atmosphere. The grand inauguration ceremony was graced by Gian Taneja, Chairman, Shiksha Samity, and Rajiv Talwar, Vice-Chairman, Shiksha Samity. The event was further honoured by the presence of all trustee members, with enthusiastic participation from teachers and students that added to the energy of the day.

This year’s fest witnessed participation from 20 schools across Jamshedpur, making it a spirited and highly competitive gathering. Thirteen competitions were organised, including seven on-stage events showcasing speech, drama, music, dance, and other live performances, along with six off-stage events featuring art and other intellectually stimulating activities. Each event was carefully designed to test leadership, teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills. The grounds of Dayanand Public School buzzed with excitement as participants gave their best, cheered on by peers and mentors.

The closing ceremony was graced by renowned educationist Pramod Dubey, who served as the Chief Guest. In his address, he praised the talent and dedication of the young participants, underlining the importance of such events in shaping well-rounded individuals. He also felicitated the winners, acknowledging their exceptional performances. Hilltop School emerged as the Overall Champion, while DBMS English School secured the Runner-Up position.

HUNCH 2025 was not only a celebration of competition but also of collaboration, reaffirming Dayanand Public School’s commitment to providing opportunities for holistic student development and fostering strong inter-school relationships. The school extended heartfelt thanks to all participating schools, dignitaries, and guests for contributing to the event’s grand success.
