Jamshedpur, March 15: Sheyn International School celebrated Grandparents Day with great enthusiasm and warmth, creating a joyful and memorable occasion for students and their grandparents.
The celebration began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony conducted by school leaders, including Tandrima Banerjee, Principal (Academics), Dr. Keya Adak, Principal (Administration) and Simran Saggu, Headmistress, along with grandparents and faculty members.
Academic Coordinator Teresa Das delivered the welcome address, extending heartfelt greetings on behalf of the school community. Principal (Academics) Tandrima Banerjee paid a touching tribute to grandparents, highlighting their invaluable role in nurturing family bonds and passing on values to younger generations.
The highlight of the programme was a ramp walk where grandparents walked alongside their grandchildren. Several engaging games, including “Passing the Pillow,” filled the atmosphere with laughter and excitement. Another touching activity involved blindfolded grandparents identifying their grandchildren, which brought immense joy to everyone present.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Headmistress Simran Saggu.
