Shatrughan Mahto tops Seraikela school with 91.40% in JAC Class 10

Seraikela, May 27: Shatrughan Mahto has topped the Upgraded High School, Krishnapur, by scoring an impressive 91.40% in the 2025 Matric Examination. The school registered a remarkable 100% pass rate, marking a proud moment for both students and faculty.

Closely following Shatrughan, Arkheet Mahto secured the second position with 90%, while Sushmita Sahu came third with 89.20%. Out of all the students who appeared, 62 passed with first division, 15 with second division and 23 students achieved scores above 80%, reflecting strong overall academic performance.

Principal-in-charge Manoj Kumar credited the success to the students’ dedication and the systematic efforts of the teachers. The school’s topper, Shatrughan Mahto, is the son of Sitaram Mahto, a farmer. Aspiring to join the Indian Administrative Service, Shatrughan attributes his success to daily six-hour self-study sessions, consistent attendance and a habit of improving based on regular feedback from teachers. He acknowledged the unwavering support of his parents and the mentorship provided by his teachers as key contributors to his achievement.

Other top performers included Aditi Pradhan, Amrita Mahto, Sameer Mahto, Khushboo Lohar, Sanjana Lohar, Sumitra Mahto and Pinky Mahto, all of whom secured commendable scores, adding to the school’s celebration of academic excellence.
