Jamshedpur, Feb. 9: Shared Services defeated Non Works by 15 – 11 and 15 – 10 points in the final to win the Executive Volleyball Championship organised by Sports Department of Tata Steel at JRD Tata Sports Complex (Volleyball Court) on Thursday, February 9.
This was the last event of the Executive Championship of 2016 – 17.
60 Executives from six unit teams including Flat Products, Non Works, Long Products, Shared Services, RMD and Iron Making participated in the championship.
Jagjit Singh, Chief, (HSM), Tata Steel was the Chief Guest and distributed the prizes to winners. J A Murty, R K Gupta, Kamaljeet Singh and Dhanranjan Sharma were the referees and conducted the entire matches of the championship.
Avinash Kumar, conducted the entire championship and was ably supported by Hassan Imam, Punam, R K Mishra, Ms. Renu Bhaduriya, Ajit Singh, B K Jena, Goswami, Ravi Barua and his staffs team.
