Gamharia: The residents of Shantinagar put up a demonstration before the Gamharia block ration supply office on Thursday.
They alleged that their names had been transferred to other public distribution system (PDS) shop without prior information.
They said they were finding it difficult to go far away from their houses to the new shop.
They said action should be taken against the ration department officials responsible for the inconvenience caused to them.
