Series of events mark Founder’s Day at Narbheram Hansraj English School

Jamshedpur, Nov 25: Narbheram Hansraj English School celebrated Founder’s Day with great enthusiasm on Friday, November 25.

The school paid homage to Sri Narbheram Hansraj Kamani, the Founder of the group of schools.

The function was graced by Nakul Kamani, President of the school Managing Committee, Varsha Gandhi, Honorary Secretary, other members of the committee and distinguished guests.

On the occasion benefactor who had stepped forward to sponsor the education of the needy students during the pandemic were felicitated.

The committee members who have completed 15 years as members of the management committee were also felicitated by the President of the school.

This was followed by declamation speech by Shynita Mukherjee who stood 4th in the ASISC Zonal Declamation Contest.

Next, a spectacular dance was performed to the tune of “Vijay Bhava…” to celebrate 75 years of Indian Independence. A fusion of music and art on the same theme was performed. This was followed by a dance on the theme “different elements of nature”. The last performance of the day was a song on “War and Futility” by the students who won first prize in the Carmel Summit, 2022.

Further, blankets were distributed to the underprivileged and the needy on the occasion of Founder’s Day.

Sri Narbheram Hansraj Kamani was a philanthropist and visionary and was instrumental in setting up the Narbheram group of institutions including the businesses, industries and schools. His vision was carried forward by Nakul Kamani who steered the school to what it is today- a school where the pursuit of excellence is a way of life.
