Seraikela traders write to CM, demand security

Jamshedpur, Oct 20: A delegation of Seraikela Chamber of Commerce met deputy commissioner A Dodde on Sunday and handed him a petition addressed to Chief Minister demanding police action in Ranchi shootout incident and better security for traders.

The traders alleged that police had failed to arrest the criminals who had shot at two brothers at their jewellery shop on 14th October last. They said the morale of criminals had gone up after the incident.

In view of the shootout incident, traders of Kolhan had observed protest by wearing black badges. The traders said the law and order situation in the state had aggravated due to spurt in criminal activities.

Those who met the DC included Pradip Kumar Choudhary, Manoj Kumar Choudhary, Prem Agrawal, Sanjay Choudhary, Jitendra Agrawal, Arun Seksariya and Mohan Seksariya.
