Seraikela, Feb 27: Seraikela-Kharsawan deputy commissioner Arava Rajkamal paid an inspection visit to the Sadar Hospital, Seraikela, on Sunday and reviewed the ongoing construction and renovation work in the various departments. He said the work of setting up the intensive care unit (ICU) was in full swing and the construction of the building was almost complete. Medical equipments brought from other cities through coordination are also being installed, he said.
The DC said the hospital management had assured that the ICU would start working in a full-fledged manner from March this year. He also inspected the postmortem room and praised the officials for the ongoing work. He said the hospital management was doing a commendable job. Earlier there was lack of basic infrastructure which would soon be provided, he said.
District civil surgeon Dr Vijay Kumar, ACMO Dr Pradip Pati, hospital manager and other officials of the hospital were also present during the DC’s inspection visit.
