Jamshedpur, Dec. 5: A 70-year-old man was killed by unidentfied miscreants near the Jugsalai Railway crossing in the early hours of Saturday.
The the victim has been identified as Mushtaq.
Mushtaq�s body was spotted by local shopkeppers near the crossing at around 9 a.m. today.
According to sources, Mushtaz used to sleep in a tyre shop owned by one Kashif, who feared that thieves might have arrived at his shop with nefarious intentions on late Friday night. It is possible that Mushtaq has identified the thieves, which led to the murder.
The Jugsalai police reached the spot and took the body under their possession. Police refused to comment on the issue and have started an investigation into the matter.
