Jamshedpur, July 23: The Mass Communication Department of Karim City College hosted a seminar on human trafficking under the joint aegis of US Embassy (Commercial) and NGO Shakti Vahini organized by mass Com Department students Abhishek Prasad, Nafis Mustafa, Manju Hansda and Afreen Naz.
The topic discussed was the role of print and electronic media in reporting and creating awareness about human trafficking and highlighting preventive measures against this social bane.
Those present during the seminar were Mass Communication Department Head Dr Neha Tiwary, faculty members Dipika Kumari, Sayyad Sajid Parvez, Farzana Begum, Shahzeb and Abhishek Gautam from Akashvani.
