Jamshedpur: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur inaugurated the first Self Defence Class at Jamshedpur Girls High School in Sakchi on Friday.
School Principal, Head of Karate Nageshwar, Karate Teacher Neeraj, teachers of the school and efficient members of the club were present at the event.
Nageshwar addressed the girls and explained them the importance of learning Self Defence and how it can be used when in need.
Pasam Adesara blessed all the children and requested them to do the course with utmost sincerity and be benefitted from this.
IPP Alakananda Bakshi also explained the importance of learning self defence by giving few real life examples.
Principal of the school Manju was very happy to start this course in the school.
Club President Shweta Chand said, it was wonderful experience to be part of Self Defence Project of Inner Wheel.
‘150 girls of the school will be learning the art of Self Defence which is very much need of the hour. We are trying to launch the course in two more schools by end of this month. The one month course will have classes once a week’, added Chand.
