Jamshedpur : Jharkhand Archery Association (JAA) is organising a two-day selection trial for senior national and sub junior meets at JRD Tata Sports Complex starting from Wednesday.
The 37th Senior National Championship is scheduled at Faridabad (Haryana) between March 26 to 30, while the one for the 37th sub-junior nationals will be staged at Bhubaneswar from March 17 to 21. According to JAA working secretary Purnima Mahto, over 150 archers from different districts were expected to attend the twin trials.
For seniors, the participants will try luck in recurve and compound rounds while the exercise for the sub-junior trials will have aspirants in the recurve, compound and Indian round.
The aspirants for the senior trials will shoot at a distance of 70 m (recurve) and 50 m (compound) while their sub-junior counterparts will aim at the 60 m (recurve), 50 m (compound) and 20 m and 30 m (Indian round).
