Jamshedpur, March 11: Following bomb threats issued to courts in several districts of Jharkhand, security agencies have intensified vigilance across the state.
In response, the district administration and police in Jamshedpur have stepped up security measures and monitoring around sensitive installations.
On Wednesday, a police team led by City SP Kumar Shivashish carried out a detailed inspection of the Jamshedpur Civil Court premises.

The team thoroughly examined all entry and exit points, from Gate No. 1 to Gate No. 3, to ensure that security arrangements remain robust and foolproof.
During the inspection, police officials interacted with security personnel deployed at the court complex and issued necessary instructions regarding vigilance and emergency response.
Officers also directed security staff to maintain heightened surveillance at sensitive spots within the premises.
Officials said the heightened alert follows recent threats targeting court complexes in multiple districts of Jharkhand. Earlier, the city’s premier management institute, XLRI – Xavier School of Management, received a bomb threat via email yesterday.
However, subsequent searches by security agencies did not reveal any suspicious object.
City SP Kumar Shivashish stated that the police are fully alert and prepared to deal with any situation.
He also appealed to the public not to pay heed to rumours and assured that continuous monitoring is being carried out to strengthen security arrangements across the city.
