Ranchi: As many as 30 candidates filed their nomination for the Lok Sabha elections going to be held in six Parliamentary constituencies of the state on 17th April in the second phase of polls.
The polls will be held in Giridih, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Singhbhum, Khunti and Hazaribagh. Tomorrow is the last day for filing nomination for the second phase of polls in the state.
The additional chief election officer of the state Kamal Kishore Sone said three candidates had filed nomination from Jamshedpur, four from Singhbhum while five had filed nominations from Khunti. From Ranchi, Giridih and Hazaribagh, eight, four and six candidates have filed nomination, he said.
The candidates from Jamshedpur include Niroop Mohanty of JMM and independent candidates Hari Oraon and Om Prakash Anand.
