SDSM School for Excellence awards meritorious students, Adarsh wins SD Singh Memorial Trophy

Jamshedpur, May 4: SDSM School for Excellence organized annual prize night in school auditorium on May 3.

The evening was organized to acknowledge the glorious achievements of the students.

The Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr Mita Tarafder, Chief Scientist, CSIR – NML, Jamshedpur.

The evening commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp by Dr Mita Tarafder, School Chairman Diwakar Singh, Principal Moushumi Das, School Manager Dr Nirmala.

The school choir sang a prayer song to seek the divine blessing for the evening. The students showcased their prowess in a stimulating dance performance.

Principal presented annual report highlighting the proud moments of the session 2022-23. The achievers for the evening were awarded by the Chief Guest and Chairman under various categories (perseverance, regularity, all-rounder and academics).

The students were awarded with trophies and certificates.

Dr Mita Tarafder spoke on the concept of Butterfly effect to bring a change in the society and AMG – A Avoid fossil fuel, M –Minimize production of CO₂, G – for Generate energy in different forms.

SD Singh Memorial Trophy (Science Stream) was bagged by Adarsh Kumar of class XI A.  Dr Nand Kishore Singh Memorial Trophy (Commerce Stream) was presented to Keshav Kumar of class XI C.

Preeti Kumari of  class XI E won the Dr US Singh Memorial Trophy. Deepak Kumar Nandi of class IX D received Ranbir Singh Memorial Trophy.  KD Tewary Memorial Trophy was bagged by Bhavya Raj of class V C.
