Jamshedpur: SDSM School for Excellence celebrated Grandparents Day in the school premises on Friday.
The event aimed at sharing an aura of cherished moments in the lives of grandparents. Around 100 grandparents were present in the programme.
The program commenced with the lighting of the lamp. The students presented Durga Stuti to continue with an obeisance to Goddess Durga. Children staged splendid dance performance. The little ones sang melodious song to show their love for their grandparents. Some entertaining games and questionnaire were organized to catch a glimpse of grandparents turning up into kids again.
Principal Moushumi Das appreciated the dedicated efforts of the students in revering their grandparents. Vice-Principal Ragini Singh thanked the organizing team, Primary Co-ordinator, Sanghamitra Mohanty, teacher Ekta Pandey and teacher Mou Bhattacharjee for creating an atmosphere of jubilation and happiness. The program ended with a vote of thanks and grandparents returned happily with token of love.
