Seraikela police to keep hawk-eye on antisocial elements during puja

Saraikela: Police super Chandan Kumar Sinha chaired a meeting at the district police headquarter to review measures to be adopted for ensuring a peaceful Durgotsav in Saraikela-Kharsawan district. Criminal activities, crime control and law and order steps came in for minute discussion. All district police station officers-in-charge were directed to keep strict vigil against antisocial elements to ensure a peaceful Durga Puja celebrations.

Addressing the police officials at the meeting, SP Chandan Kumar Sinha directed the officers-in-charge of all police stations to organize Peace Committee meetings under their jurisdictions. Sinha directed the officers-in-charge to maintain law and order, ensure safety for the devotees and keep a hawk-eye on antisocial elements including eve-teasers and bring them to book.

SP Chandan Kumar Sinha specially instructed officers-in-charge of Naxalite sensitive police stations to closely monitor the movements of members of the outlawed group and report any information received on suspicious activities.

The meeting was attended by Saraikela SDPO Avinash Kumar, Chandil SDPO Dhirendra Narayan Banka, Kandra PS OC Ashok Kumar, Adityapur PS OC Vijay Singh, Rajnagar PS OC Yagya Narayan Tiwari and Kharsawan PS OC Narosah Munda along with all police inspectors and OP officers-in-charge.
