SDPO holds meeting with ASIs

Jamshedpur: Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Ghatsila convened a meeting with the Assistant Sub Inspectors (ASIs) on Sunday and updated them on amendments made in the Indian Penal Code and Criminal Minor Acts.
The SDPO asked the cops to ensure error-free investigation and diary writing so that the culprits do not get any undue advantage in the court of law. He said even minor discrepancies in investigation and police station diaries could lead to acquitall of culprits. Foolproof investigation is must to ensure that the culprits are punished, he said.
