Organizes Hasya Kavi Sammelan at Sidhgora Town Hall
Jamshedpur: CP Samiti Middle School celebrated its 75th anniversary with great fervour on Sunday. A two day event organized to mark its foundation day concluded today with �Hasya Kavi Sammelan� at Sidhgora Town Hall. The chief guest of the occasion was CP Singh, state Urban Development Minister. He said the school was established in 1943 and hence was a heritage for the city. He said the school had played a crucial role in educating the young generation for 75 years.
Padma Shree poet Dr Surendra Dubey, Dr Padam Albela, Gauri Mishra and Dr Mani Madhukar Musli regaled the audience with their humorous poems. Many students and their parents were present on the occasion.
Other dignitaries present on the occasion included East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar, SSP Anoop Birtharay, Jharkhand State Women�s Commission chairperson Kalyani Sharan, Khemlal Choudhary and Dinesh Kumar.
Several former students of CP Samiti Middle School were honoured during the Hasya Kavi Sammelan. They included Dr RK Agrawal, Avadh Bihari Yadav, Ravi Shankar Dubeyl Lakhan Lal Sahu and Surendra Lal.
