Jamshedpur, Feb 15: Dhalbhum sub divisional officer (SDO) Sandeep Kumar Meena Monday issued orders for the removal of unauthorized hoardings and flax from the city. Many of such hoardings pose threat on traffic safety.
The SDO said an ultimatum of 24 hours was given to various persons and institutions to remove these hoardings. After the deadline, notices would be served to those responsible for installation of these unauthorized hoardings, said the SDO.
In case the illegal hoardings are not removed, penalty would also be imposed on those responsible for installing them, officials said.
Today’s meeting was attended by the JNAC Special Officer Krishna Kumar, Circle Officer Jamshedpur Sadar Amit Srivastav, DSP CCR, town manager of Mango Municipal Corporation Jitendra Kumar, Lukesh Kumar from Jugsalai Nagar Parishad and representatives of Tata Steel Land Department.
