Seraikela: The sub divisional officer of Seraikela Sanjeev Kumar Besra today held a meeting with the sub divisional police officer Naresh Prasad and the block development officers and circle officers of Seraikela and Kharsawan to discuss preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections.
He said the administration had been directed by the Election Commission to make adequate preparations to ensure free and fair elections.
Security and booth management issues were discussed at length during the meeting.
The SDO inquired about the number of sensitive and highly sensitive polling booths in the district.
