Ranchi: Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma today said that everyone�s help is required in completing �Mission 5K�. On the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on 12th January, 25,000 youths will be given jobs, said the CS while inaugurating Sector Skill Council Summit conducted by Higher Education and Skill Development Department at Hotel Radisson Blue in Ranchi.
She said that companies officials should coordinate among themselves and create maximum number of jobs for the youths.
Verma said the government was making efforts to train the youths of the state in different skills and make them employable at national and global level. �The government is trying every bit to employ the youths in the state itself.
In this regard, steps have been taken to start 19 and 74 industries in the first and second phase respectively. The CM has targeted to provide the nation the most reliable work force by training 50 lakh youths between 15-30 years age group. Apart from direct jobs, the government conducted Momentum Jharkhand to get job platform for thousands of job seekers.
In the third phase of industrialization, the govt. will try to get at least 100 companies planted under the MoUs signed during Momentum,� she said.
The CS said the youths of the state will be given scope and space.
Addressing the CEOs of 34 companies from Skill Sector, the CS appealed to them to work on mission mode and become the government�s partner in the development of the state.
Higher Education Secretary Ajay Kumar said that the governement is working to realize the MoUs signed during Momentum. Many Mega Skill Centers have been opened. Skill related programmes are being run in colleges and all stake holders are being brought on one platform to give the nation Skill Jharkhand. A total of 20 lakh youths are to be trained by 2022. Companies like Simons are willing to open skill centres in the state, he said.
