Jamshedpur: The Investiture Ceremony of Kerala Public School (KPS), Mango, took place on Tuesday.
The school officials said the ceremony was meant to assign responsibility to the newly-elected cabinet members of the school involving students of various classes.
The day began with a prayer song. The bugle announced the beginning of the Investiture Ceremony and the school Cabinet Members marched sprightly and majestically in sync with the beats of the school band.
The school cabinet of KPS Mango comprises 22 members. Riya Kumari was elected the new president and Mohammad Abdullah the vice president of the school.
Alka Sinha, the principal handed over the badges to the newly elected cabinet members and the Class leaders and assistant leaders from class V to X.
The president administered the oath of office to all the members. The council took a pledge to hold the school motto in high esteem and to fulfill their duties impartially.
The ceremony was also graced by the Director Sharath Chandran, who addressed the students and advised the cabinet to be honest and impartial.
