Dr. Chiranjit Nath Conducts Teacher Empowerment Workshop at Hill Top School

Jamshedpur: Hill Top School in Telco Colony hosted a two-day professional development program this week focused on the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023. Dr. Chiranjit Nath, a faculty member at the Jharkhand Council of Educational Research and Training (JCERT) and CENTA associate, led the training.

The workshop, titled “Understanding Key Competencies and Learning Outcomes,” drew 36 educators from Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Chakradharpur, Kharagpur, Prayagraj, and Odisha.

The program provided 14 hours of training between April 20 and April 21. Dr. Nath applied his research in assessment design and module creation to help participants implement competency-based education in their classrooms.

“The NCF-SE 2023 serves as a roadmap for modern, effective classrooms,” Dr. Nath said during the session. He emphasized that the goal of the framework involves moving beyond rote learning to foster genuine inquiry and measurable skills in students.

The initiative aimed to bridge the gap between academic research and daily teaching practices, equipping teachers with tools to align their instruction with new national standards.
