Jamshedpur, Jan. 28: Books are mirrors of one’s soul which enrich the mind and soothe the heart. Sponsored by Scholastic Publication, DAV Public School, NIT, Adityapur, organised a three day Book Fair from 25 to 28 January.
It was an occasion of great festivity for the book lovers in the campus. It brought joy and excitement of reading among children which gave festive look all around.
Children from LKG to class VII visited the fair with great interest. Parents of the children were also invited to the venue.
The principal of the school, O P Mishra, soon after inaugurating the Book Fair said he believes in providing his children with holistic and informative literature to enrich their vocabulary, diction and reading habits.
Sanchita Dey, representative, Scholastic Publication, informed the gathering that lucrative offers in the form of ‘Lucky Draw’ and ‘Classroom Challenge’ besides 10 percent discount on books plus 15 percent teachers’ rebate have been given to encourage children buy more number of books.
Rajlaxmi Mam Bhattamishra, the librarian of the school, thanked the sponsors and the visitors for their cooperation in making the fair a big success.
