Jamshedpur, Oct 13: A Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and industry (SCCI) delegation met JIADA Regional Director, Prem Ranjan and discussed several issues related to industrial development and hitches that were to be resolved. The meeting was organized at the JIADA Bhawan in Adityapur.
SCCI President, Vijay Anand Moonka and General Secretary, Manav Kedia, while briefing aspects of the meeting, stated that during the discussions, avenues were probed for development of industry in the region and the deletion of impediments coming in the way of industrial progress.
The SCCI President suggested that invitation to automobile and electronic equipment manufacturers would be a viable step to explore fresh opportunities for industrial growth. Dr Udham Singh, the Moderator of the Rotaract Club of Karim City College, was also present at the meeting.
SCCI Vice President (Industry), Puneet Kauntia discussed the challenges faced for obtaining electricity through DISCOM Services, streetlight maintenance, and the parking facilities for trucks in the Industrial Areas. Secretary of Industry, Vinod Sharma, raised concerns about land allocation for the industrial sector.
The SCCI delegation also discussed matters related to the bad road conditions in the industrial area, non-functional streetlights whose repair and maintenance required high costs, and the need for truck parking facilities.
The Regional Director, Prem Ranjan assured the delegation that the concerns raised would be addressed and resolved at the earliest.
The SCCI delegation included President Vijay Anand Moonka, General Secretary Manav Kedia, Vice-President (Industry) Puneet Kauntia, Vice-President (Finance) Rajeev Agrawal, Vice-President (Public Relations and Welfare) Abhishek Agrawal Goldy, Secretary (Industry) Vinod Sharma, Secretary (Public Relations and Welfare) Bharat Vasani, Secretary (Finance and Treasury) Anshul Ringasia, and Secretary (Business and Commerce) Suresh Sharma Lipu, and Treasurer CA Anil Agrawal.
