Adityapur, Oct 13: In preparation for the upcoming Durga Puja , around 150 artisans are working day and night to put the finishing touches on the famed pandal at Praveen Singh Seva Sansthan (Malkhan Singh) Adityapur.
The pandal, which replicates a South Indian temple ruin and cave, is set to open its doors to devotees on October 14, featuring a colorful procession and cultural program.
Former MLA Arvind Singh, who serves as the Chief Patron, said the unique design of the pandal, resembling a ruined temple, carries a significant purpose. It aims to inspire the government to take steps in preserving cultural heritage. Special provisions have been made for the comfort of disabled individuals, the elderly, and women to ensure a hassle-free experience, with dedicated hours set aside for their visit.
As visitors traverse through the cave-like structure, they will have darshan (sight) of four representations of Mata Rani.
The devotees will witness the sacred deities while passing through the cave. The construction of this magnificent structure was undertaken by artisans from Parvati Decorators in Macheda, Mednipore, West Bengal.
Security measures for the pandal include 50 CCTV cameras, 100 volunteers, and drone cameras to safeguard the space and its visitors.

In commemoration of its Golden Jubilee, the former Jairam Youth Sporting Club has been named as Praveen Seva Sansthan. The club is marking this milestone year with grand celebrations during the Durga Utsav. Prominent ministers and MLAs from Jharkhand and Bihar are expected to participate in the puja festivities.
The roots of Durga Puja in this community trace back to 1973 when it was first initiated by Kanhaiya Prasad, Sameer Mandal, Naval Kishore, BN Bhakta, Shyamal Kant Jha, and Shri Verma, all residents of the colony.
Numerous individuals contributed to the successful organization of the puja over the years. Key figures included Patron AK Srivastava, Bhagwan Singh, licensee Shankar Singh, President Vinayak Singh, General Secretary Satya Prakash, Jitendra Mishra, Ankur Singh, Alok Dubey, Raja Singh, and Chandan Singh.
