Jamshedpur, Oct 15: MP Vidyut Baran Mahto today inaugurated a two day housing and car loan fair by State Bank of India at the G Town ground.
SBI general manager Vikas Chandra, regional manager Navin Kumar, all AGMs of the bank�s city branches including chief managers and branch managers were present on the occasion.
The prime reason for organizing the fair was to provide customers with multiple brands of cars under one roof. The bank has arranged for spot sanction of loans and waiver of processing fees. Women borrowers would be charged lesser interest rates.
On spot booking and delivery facilities have been provided in the two day fair. Customers are being provided silver coins during booking.
The first day recorded 203 enquiries while 56 cars were booked and 25 cars delivered. Diwali and Dhanteras festivals are at hand and this aspect has evoked good response from people.
