Jamshedpur: Lord Shanidev was worshipped by a large number of devotees at the Shanidev temple situated near Dukhu Market in Jugsalai on Saturday. The temple priest Damodar Shani Baba performed puja which started at 7 am and continued till 3 pm.
He said peepal trees were also worshipped during the puja. Many devotees observed fast today. They ended the fast after offering prasad to the priest. Many devotees planted saplings and sought blessings of Lord Shanidev.
Those present during today�s puja included Sunita Sharma, Ashok Sharma, Keshav Singh, Manoj Puriya, Hemant Agrawal and Manoj Parikh.
