Satyanarayana Puja performed at Saastha Preethi celebrations

Jamshedpur, Jan. 28: As part of 69th Saastha Preethi celebrations, the pujas at Dharma Saastha Temple, located at Kharkhai Link, Bistupur, commenced on Saturday with Lord Ganapati Avahan, followed by chanting of Durga Shapta Shati for 80 times and performing of 64 Yogini Bhairava Bali by the visiting 22 pandits who came from South India for the purpose. Later on Maha Deeparadhana was performed and prashad was distributed to hundreds of devotees.

In the evening Sri Satyanarayana Puja was performed and Chandi Mool Mantra was also chanted for 2 times by the pandits which was followed by Rudra Kramarchana and chanting of Chaturvedas.

In the evening, Anoop T Mathew , Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), visited the Temple who was honoured with a shawl and prashad by P N Sankaran, working president of the Temple.
