Jamshedpur, Sept 19: The Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) has appointed Satyam Singh as the Chairman of the Jharkhand State Youth INTUC. The decision was approved by INTUC National President and announced by Dr. P. Srinivasan, National Chairman.
The appointment comes in view of the need to bring young workers from emerging sectors under union activities. Singh has been directed to form a full-fledged youth committee by including young leaders from affiliated unions, in consultation with Rakeshwar Pandey, President of INTUC Jharkhand.
Dr. Srinivasan said the move would strengthen youth participation in union activities across the state. Singh will operate from the Siroman Singh Campus, Bhalubasa, Jamshedpur.
