Jamshedpur: The students of Hill Top School, Telco, imbibed many humanitarian values on Saturday as they experienced a different day with teachers and members of several NGOs.
The class XII students interacted with the members of SHARE, an NGO, to learn about methods of collaboration, planning and spreading awareness on various issues. Class XII students participated in an awareness campaign on blood donation with Voluntary Blood Donors Association, Jharkhand.
Class X students visited Lupungdih and Nutandih and met Sabar community members and interacted with many of them to learn about their lifestyle and methods of cultivation. Class IX students prepared booklets in Braille which would be gifted to the visually challenged children. Standard VIII students visited Adarsh Seva Sansthan, Sonari, to assist the NGO in catering to the needs of poor people.
Standard VII students organized a road show and staged a nukkad natak (street-corner play) on protection of girl child.
The students of class VI visited the herbal soap factory of Neev Foundation at Hurlung and learnt about the soap manufacturing process.
The students of class III prepared rachis for Brother�s Day. Class IV and V students too, learnt about surveying and book collection for a noble cause.
