Jamshedpur: Freshers� Day was celebrated at Govind Vidyalaya, Tamolia, on Saturday to welcome standard XI students. The teachers, students and other staff of the school were present during the programme.
The managing director of the school Dr Bramhadutt Sharma inaugurated the programme by lighting the ceremonial lamp. He said the students should strive to excel in academics and try to improve themselves. He said the students should do something different in their areas of interest. He wished them all the best for their future endeavours.
The school principal Dr Sunita Sinha said the students should give importance to discipline and ensure they study well to get good results.
A welcome speech was given by the president of Vidyarthi Parishad Tanfiz Ahmad. The class XI students too, spoke on the occasion.
