Jamshedpur, July 2: Rotary Club of Jamshedpur has appointed Satnam Kapula as President and Mangilal Chawla as secretary for the new session 2022-23.
The tenure will be till June 30, 2023. The new committee also includes PE Pramod Dubey, Joint Secretary Dr. VSP Sinha, Treasurer Vivek Tulsyan. The boards of directors include Varsha Chand, Dr. Mandar Shah, Sunit Kumar, Vinay Krishna Venkat, Kaushtubh Kumar and Harpreet Marwah.
The motto of Rotary Year 22-23 is ‘Imagine Rotary’. The aim of the club is to educate poor, helpless and also make girls and women of the society aware about hygiene.
The club will have special focus on environment this year. Rotary Club of Jamshedpur is the oldest club in Rotary District 3250 (Bihar and Jharkhand). This is the 15th oldest club in India, which was formed in 1936.
