Saryu writes to CM on water and power crisis in city

Jamshedpur: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former MLA of Jamshedpur West Saryu Roy has written to Chief Minister Hemant Soren to apprise him about the electricity and water crisis in Mango and other parts of the city.

In the letter, Roy pointed out that the people of Mango were facing the crisis for a long time. The crisis had deepened since last 60 hours and there was no relief apparent or visible to the people, he said.

�The people are compelled to resort to agitation. They have taken to the streets to demand basic civic amenities like water and electricity. But the state government has miserably failed to address the problems being faced every day by the people. This is indeed a sorry state of affairs in Jharkhand,� said Roy.

Roy alleged that the MLA of Jamshedpur West Banna Gupta was putting undue pressure on the district administration officials on various issues without knowing the ground reality.

He asked the CM not to interfere with the petty issues without knowing the facts merely to oblige the public representative.
